We are currently looking for a Technical Writer (m/f/d) for a client in the energy sector.

Start: 12.06.2023
Duration: 6+ months (total project duration is 3-5 years)
Capacitiy: 100% - Less possible after agreement
Location: 75% Remote | 25% Berlin
Language: English

Tasks:
• Write, publish, and keep up to date technical documents, including User “How to” Guides and reference manuals.
• Understand user needs and write documents at the level and specificity required to help users to adopt and use EDP.
• Gather information from technical members of EDP Development/QA teams and EDP Product team to learn how to use EDP features for specific use cases.
• Be hands-on to understand product usage and to verify correctness of created “how to” guides.
• Create project plans for deliverables and set timelines and deadlines

Skills:
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to present complex information and usage scenarios in clear, concise language.
• Ability to work independently and set/meet deadlines.
• Ability to interact with cloud products at user level to understand documentation requirements and to verify the correctness of created technical documents.

Background:
The team is building an internal development platform for software product developers to accelerate the development and delivery of software products to tackle the massive challenges facing the energy sector. The Platform is a service oriented, cloud-native platform that is being built to provide application teams with self-service capabilities to develop, run and operate their software products. Platform provides services for application infrastructure, data, service lifecycle management, application build and delivery as well as services to operate their software products. The Platform is deployed as a hybrid cloud, encompassing both private cloud and select public clouds.
