For our client we are looking for an IAM Operations Lead (f/m/d).

Framework parameters:
Start: mid/end January 2025
Duration: 30.06.25 (long term engagement (2026))
Capacity: 100% if possible
Location: 75% Remote, 25% Berlin (1 week Berlin / 3 weeks remote in rotation), up to 50% onsite in peak times

Role:
The IAM team within the program organization is responsible for developing core services of a private cloud platform, such as a IAM, Secret Managment and IAMaaS offering and associated services for lifecycle and resource management.
The organization of the Product Line is structured around the delivery process, including productmanagement, architecture, product delivery, and product operations.
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Operations Lead for the IAM product Line of the EDP project to join our international team.
This role will be responsible for leading the operations teams, focusing on
ensuring stability & reliability in operations of our services.
In this role, you will be responsible for setting up structures & processes to operate, maintain and manage our services and products.
You’ll play a critical role in ensuring the availability and reliability of our hybrid cloud platform services.

Profile:
The individual must be at a senior-level in product operations in a cloud native delivery settings with proven skills and have the following experience. Excellent documentation and communication skills and proactive
attitude. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams, adapting to agile and DevOps methodologies forsoftware development. Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with a focus on root cause analysis and sustainablesolutions. Ability to work independently and take initiative in
identifying and addressing technical challenges. EU residency mandatory.

Skills (must-have):
- Effective communication skills, conveying technical issues and solutions clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and make informed decisions (even under pressure).
- Deep understanding of IAM principles, security protocols (OIDC,SAML, OAuth, LDAP), and compliance requirements
- Experience with at least one major IAM solution, preferably Keycloak and Hashicorp Vault,and tools, with the ability to configure, manage, and optimize these platforms.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of conducting thorough root cause analysis
- Fundamental understanding of core operations processes (incident management, change management, problem management, IT Service Management
- Proficiency in advanced troubleshooting and incident management for IAM systems.
- Fluent English in speech and writing (min. C1)

Skills (should-have):
- Experience with cloud-based IAM services (AWS IAM, Azure AD,Google Cloud IAM) and their integration into enterprise environments.
- Experience with CI/CD, helm-charts/terraform, and general automation of setup and configuration of tooling to enhance IAM processes and workflows
- Familiarity with advanced security concepts, such as Zero Trust
- Architecture and Privileged Access Management (PAM)
- Experience in implementing multi-factor authentication (MFA), single sign-on (SSO), and identity federation solutions.
- Project management skills and experience working in a scaled agile environment.
- Fluent in German
- Working with Scrum and general experience in agile frameworks
- Familiarity with public cloud platforms (e.g., GCP, Azure) and their services
- Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-code concepts and tools
- Experience with operations in hyperscalers (GCP and others)
