For our client we are looking for a Platform Delivery Manager (f/m/d).

Start: 03.11.2025
Duration: 3 months, + wish for a long-term prolongation
Capacity: 80-100%
Location: 75% Remote, 25% Berlin (1 week Berlin / 3 weeks remote in rotation), up to 50% onsite in peak times
Language: English is a must, German is a plus

Role:
The Delivery Program Line is responsible for the design, rollout, and continuous optimization of a software delivery function.
To accelerate software delivery, the focus lies on optimizing engineering workflows, increasing automation levels, and introducing modern development tools—including AI-assisted capabilities. Development pipelines are structured to support rapid iteration, reliable test automation, and safe deployment, ensuring high-quality outputs with reduced lead times.
The Development 4 Platform product is our own platform for developing and releasing software. Program Delivery is a key stakeholder in this platform and is responsible for providing business requirements into this platform.

Objectives & Tasks:
- Objective: Define the stages and gates of our development process.
Tasks:
• Working with key stakeholders (e.g. development, operations, product lines) to understand how our software development process should look like.
• Conducting deep dives into critical delivery challenges and define actionable solutions.
• Aligning of the technical problem-solving with program priorities and timelines.
• Identifying systemic gaps and ensure consistent resolution patterns across teams.
• Ensuring feedback and insights from escalations are used to improve structural processes.
- Objective: Ensure the successful design, rollout, and continuous improvement of a centralized development platform that supports scalable and efficient engineering across the program.
- Objective: Improve overall delivery speed by optimizing engineering workflows, increasing automation, and leveraging modern technologies.

Skills (must-have):
- Experience in the management of the organizations of complex development projects
- Experience with tests automation and frameworks/tools in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation
- Experience in large scale cloud platforms, their environments and the operations of infrastructure
- Experience in observability, performance monitoring, and improving customer experience
- Experience with Kubernetes, containerization, DevOps practices, and IAM/RBAC principles and the associated observability solutions
- Competence in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
- Familiarity with the essentials of CI/CD pipeline management, including build, image registry, vulnerability scanning, and deployment processes.
- Experience with test automation and frameworks/tools in CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation
- Experience in large cloud environments, their building blocks and the operation of infrastructures
- Experience from the development of private cloud environments
- Experience in observability, performance monitoring, and customer experience improvement
- Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, agile and Scrum methodologies,
- Deep knowledge from developing cloud in either private or public cloud environments

Skills (should-have):
- Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerization, DevOps practices, and IAM/RBAC principles and related observability solutions
- Experience with building infra using open source tech and associated tools like terraform, helm, etc.
- Familiarity in the application of analysis and problem-solving methods
- Proficiency in using project management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
