Für unseren Kunden sind wir auf der Suche nach einem Junior VMware experte (m/w/d) Automation.

Laufzeit: 26.4.26 - 12 Monate (++ bis zu 3 Jahre)

Auslastung: Full

Remote/Onsite: 90/10 (might be all over Germany)

German language mandatory, public sector experience advantage

A hands-on consultant with a solid technical foundation in virtualization, supporting implementations, quality assurance, and cross-team

collaboration.

Primary Responsibilities

• Supporting implementation of technical designs

• Supporting virtual services in the data center (incl. 3rd level assistance)

• Performing code and concept reviews

• Producing documentation and collaborating across teams

• Assisting in selecting frameworks and tools

• Providing consulting to experts in the data center environment

Required Competencies

• Initial to good experience in data center operations (UNIX/Windows, virtualization)

• Good analytical and problem-solving capability

• Structured working approach

• Strong communication skills

• Confident stakeholder handling

• Very good German language skills

Technical Requirements

• Basic VMware vSphere/vCenter administration

• Initial experience with Ansible or PowerShell

• Solid Linux/Windows Server fundamentals

• Understanding of IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs

• Basic storage knowledge (NFS, SMB, SAN)

• Monitoring tools (Grafana or similar)

• Basic Git usage

• Documentation tools (Confluence, Markdown, Visio)
