Looking for our client for a Senior Azure DevOps Architect to support the setup and rollout of an enterprise Azure DevOps (ADO) platform .
Type: Freelance / Contract
Start: Mid-April 2026
Duration: Until end of September 2026 (option to extend)
Workload: ~880 hours (remote)
Delivery setup: Remote (Germany context)
Eligibility:Nearshore or Offshore resources only
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement an enterprise ADO platform (governance, structure, templates).
- Build standardized CI/CD pipelines (YAML), agent strategy, permissions, and reusable onboarding packages.
- Implement multi-tenancy concepts (RBAC, isolation, audit separation).
- Embed SDLC security controls into CI/CD (SAST, SCA, secret scanning, DAST).
- Define and support migration approach (pilot → phased rollout).
Required Skills
- Azure DevOps expert (pipelines, repos, artifacts, permissions, agent pools).
- Enterprise platform architecture experience.
- Multi-tenancy and security-by-design mindset.
- Automation/IaC approach and strong documentation.
