Team:
This service supports the architecture, operating model design, and continuous improvement of the on-prem and hybrid DevOps Central Services for the client.
The objective is to ensure a secure, compliant, and efficient DevOps toolchain that enables internal application teams to deliver software reliably at scale with consistent, automated integration and system-level testing across heterogeneous platforms. A particular focus lies on standardizing integration
testing patterns, environments, and toolchain integrations across on-prem and hybrid DevOps services. The service addresses increasing platform complexity, growing numbers of applications and engineers, and evolving regulatory requirements.
A key goal of the service is to translate regulatory and cybersecurity requirements—especially NIS2—into enforceable architectural standards, guardrails, and operational practices, while aligning DevOps services with
the Enterprise Private Cloud and cloud-based services.

Tasks:
- Define architectural standards for integration, system, and end-to-end testing in on-prem and cloud DevOps environments; assess technical impacts of architectural decisions; translate NIS2 and cybersecurity requirements into technical controls and operational procedures.
- Implement secure-by-design principles across DevOps processes and tooling; provide guidance on test environments, pipelines, and data handling to ensure integration tests comply with regulatory and security requirements.
- Reduce complexity and compliance overhead through tool rationalization initiatives; assess and optimize integration testing frameworks, test orchestration tools, and environment provisioning mechanisms.
- Define versioning, compatibility, and lifecycle governance for DevOps tools; establish reference patterns for integrating testing tools into enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
- Implement and extend automation across CI/CD, deployment workflows, and infrastructure operations; deliver monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability blueprints with documentation and handover.
- Design and document operational processes (incident response playbooks, backup concepts, access management, capacity planning); support implementation through automation and templates while enabling Client's teams to execute.
- Consult with Enterprise Private Cloud teams to ensure seamless integration between on-prem and cloud environments; provide guardrails, operating model designs, and security configurations for hybrid deployments.
- Gather requirements through defined interfaces and designated points of contact; deliver comprehensive documentation, reference implementations, and structured handover materials for integration testing patterns and DevOps standards to internal operational teams

Skills (must-have):
- Proven (min. 7 years) work experience in providing DevOps Engineering and Integration testing consulting services.
- Proven experience in designing On-prem DevOps Platforms in regulated context.
- Proven experience in working with Azure DevOps Server On prem ("TFS").
- English (C1) and German (B2) at a professional working level

Skills (should-have):
- Experience with Hybrid DevOps Platform Architecture, Operation and Testability
- Experience with Toolchain Rationalisation and Migrations
- Ability to produce quality Developer Documentation
- Experience with .NET applications
- Experience with hands-on support of developers with their CI/CD pipeline implementation
