Project Description
We are supporting a globally leading client from industrial automation in strengthening its solutions teams. The company develops innovative solutions for Remote Recovery and Remote Health IoT – technologies that make critical infrastructures more reliable, secure, and intelligent.
Your role: You are an experienced Business Analyst with end-to-end responsibility for solution design and delivery. You become a trusted advisor to business stakeholders, product owners, architects, and senior developers – navigating complex, cross-functional initiatives and ensuring that requirements, solution design, and international rollouts mesh seamlessly.
Remote Recovery
Enables remote control and remote restart of systems and supports critical remote rescue operations. Fully integrated into existing platforms and compliant with all relevant safety requirements. You are responsible for requirements management, solution design, and rollout coordination across multiple countries.
Remote Health IoT
Leverages real-time controller data to monitor equipment health and system performance. Implementation considers local legal and regulatory requirements. You are responsible for requirements management, solution design, and international rollout coordination of this technology.

Utilization: 100% Full-time
Location: 90%+ Remote, flexible on-site days in Düsseldorf
Team: 1–2 Business Analysts (depending on project scope)
Tasks
- Requirements Engineering & Solution Design: Capture requirements from stakeholders, analyze them, and translate them into well-thought-out, technically sound solution concepts
- Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with product owners, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to successfully implement complex initiatives
- Solution Ownership: Full responsibility for concept, design, and delivery – from initial requirements through productive use
- International Rollout Management: Coordinate rollout of Remote Recovery and Remote Health IoT across multiple countries and regions, taking local requirements into account
- Compliance & Safety: Requirements management while considering safety standards and local regulations
- Trusted Advisor: Serve as central point of contact for technical and strategic questions, recommend solutions, and contribute best practices
Experience & KnowledgeRequired
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Solutions Designer, or in a similar role with end-to-end responsibility
- Strong knowledge of Requirements Engineering: Ability to gather, document, prioritize, and align requirements with technical teams
- Solution Design & System Architecture: Understanding of technical architectures, system integration, and IoT solutions (without requiring deep technical coding expertise)
- International Project Management: Experience with rollouts across multiple countries, managing different regulatory frameworks
- Stakeholder Management: Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (executive, technical, operations)
- Security & Compliance: Understanding of safety-critical systems and regulatory requirements
- Fluent English (working language)
Desirable
- Experience with IoT platforms, remote management systems, or Industrial IoT
- Knowledge of Agile methods and iterative delivery models
- Experience working with international teams and distributed collaboration
- Change management and user adoption planning
- Technical understanding of cloud platforms and microservices architectures
