Remote/Onsite: 90/10 (might be all over Germany)

 

Budget: Max. 90,- EUR/h all-in

 

German language mandatory, public sector experience advantage

 

A technical architect with broad expertise in virtualization, storage, databases, monitoring, and automation. Responsible for architectural

guidelines, technical designs, and service quality assurance.

 

Primary Responsibilities

• Creating high-level architectural concepts

• Quality assurance of detailed concepts

• Supporting service implementation

• 3rd level expert support

• Coordinating market analyses

• Working closely with solution architects

• Advising service experts in the data center

 

Required Competencies

• Multiple years of experience in data center environments (UNIX/Windows, enterprise systems)

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Highly structured, independent working style

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Experience working with large enterprises

 

Technical Requirements

• Experience with vSphere enterprise deployments

• Ansible, PowerShell/PowerCLI, Git workflows

• Database operations in virtualized environments

• Enterprise monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, vROps, Zabbix/Nagios)

• SAN/NAS architecture, replication concepts, performance tuning

• Backup solutions (Veeam, Commvault), RTO/RPO planning

• Security hardening and access control

• Troubleshooting storage, network, and performance bottlenecks

• Integration with enterprise systems (IAM, CMDB, orchestration)
