We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (m/f/d) IaC / Kubernetes / Terraform for our client.

Project Description
Our client is building an internal developer platform. As DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in building and operating the infrastructure and tooling ecosystem behind the platform's security operations capabilities - working with infrastructure-as-code, CI/CD pipelines, and container orchestration, and supporting logging, detection, and automation workflows. This role is ideal for someone with a strong DevOps/platform engineering background who is motivated to grow into DevSecOps, gradually taking on more security-focused responsibilities such as detection engineering and incident response tooling. Your work will directly contribute to a resilient, trustworthy, and secure platform ecosystem.

Framework Parameters
Duration: asap – 31.12.2026 (with option to extend)
Workload: Full-time
Location: 75% Remote & 25% Frankfurt am Main / Berlin (1 week Onsite / 3 weeks remote in rotation), up to 50% onsite in peak times

- Growth into DevSecOps (as capabilities develop)

Experience & Skills
- Solid professional experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure engineering
- Experience with infrastructure-as-code, particularly Terraform
- Experience with CI/CD toolchains
- Experience with container orchestration platforms, particularly Kubernetes
Experience with logging and detection solutions for cloud architecture
- Scripting experience (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Go)
- Genuine motivation to grow into DevSecOps and take on increasing security responsibility
- Fluent English, spoken and written (at least C1), German (nice-to-have)

Nice to have
- Experience with SIEM/SOAR, EDR platforms, log ingestion, and telemetry pipelines
- Experience with Wazuh
- Experience with observability platforms and OpenTelemetry
- Experience with threat modeling, detection engineering frameworks, TTP matrices, and MITRE ATT&CK
- Experience in SOC Analyst Tier 1–3 roles or a solid understanding of security operations centers
- Experience with security frameworks (BSI, ISO 27001, MITRE ATT&CK, etc.)
- Experience with GCP or another public cloud provider
- Experience in related DFIR or blue team domains (CySA+, GIAC, GCIH, BTL)
- Experience in Kubernetes security (CKS or CNCF-related certifications)
